The City of Ottawa presented the 2021 Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards during TiECon Canada’s virtual ceremony on November 23, recognizing local immigrant-led businesses and their contributions to the economy.

Mary (Maryam) Yazdani, Founder of GenesisLink Consulting Services, was recognized for supporting newcomers with innovative business ideas and helping entrepreneurs establish and expand ventures in Canada.

GenesisLink reported rapid growth during 2021 and continued expanding its support network across priority areas including technology, health, education, and the environment.
